Kiddy Evo-Luna i-Size
The Kiddy Evo-Luna i-Size complies to the latest R129 standards and is suitable for babies from 40cm to 83cm under 13kg. The seat only secures by way of isofix brackets. If you are unsure what ISOfix is here is a link to a video on Youtube that will help: www.youtube.com/watch?v=qL3c3hs9who
Evo-Luna i-Size is advertised as lay flat which is not quite accurate but it is certainly very flat and without question is a superb car seat with excellent crash test results.
The Kiddy Evo-Luna i-Size is very easy to fit and is very comfortable for baby. It can be reclined whilst baby is in the seat simply by adjusting the handle position and the covers are machine washable (though they can be a bit of a problem to remove). Like so many other infant carriers Evo-Luna i-Size can be attached to many different pushchairs to make a travel system.
In general, we LOVE this seat it has a huge amount going for it, but it does have some negatives.
Like most lie flat/shallow angle car seats, it is a bit on the heavy side (but not quite so heavy as the Jane Matrix). Moving from car to car can be a problem as the Evo-Luna i-Size cannot normally go into a car that has underfloor storage.
Additionally, Evo-Luna i-Size, cannot be secured using a seat belt so if you want to transfer the base and seat to a car without ISOfix (or just want to use the seat without the base) you can’t. This could be a problem for some (but not all) users.
However, the few negatives apart this is a near perfect car seat and is very highly recommended.
